Monet

Monet painted far more than the paintings by which most know him -- the Water Lilies in his garden at Givency. Here are a few:

First the transformation from youth (1868) to age (1886)

The Magpie (age 28)
Windmill at Leyden (age 46)

A nice change from the lily ponds at Givenchy are the Poplars on Epte -- one of two such paintings -- yet, this would not be a Monet Homepage without a Water Lily painting -- this one with Clouds.

Lily Pond at Givenchy

one that you really want to invert to see properly

The Cathedral at Rouen
The Parasol
